My husband hired a skip for us to use at home for our garden waste. First of all, the skip didn't arrive on time and it was only when my husband contacted J.Dickinson that they told us the skip wouldn't be coming that day. Therefore, had my husband not made the phone call, would we have even been told? Plus, my husband took a day off work to wait in for a skip that never arrived so a waste of a day's leave from work. This was nothing compared to the collection of the skip. It was meant to be collected on Saturday, but it wasn't. Since then, my husband has made 4 phone calls to J.Dickinson to be told each time that the skip would be collected tomorrow, which didn't happen until 5 days later. Any decent company shouldn't need 4 phone calls and not even so much of an apology either, which is disgraceful. Plus, because the skip wasn't removed on time, it meant we had to change our delivery plans of items needed for the garden. So not only was the skip not delivered on time, it took 4 calls for them to remove the skip. We would definitely not recommend using this company as it is not worth the hassle.
