        Today I tried to donate loads of new, never used items to Derian House Charity shop. The lady in the shop didnt ask what the items were, but just said were not taking donations and showed us the door. No apology or thanks for offering, just showed us out. I understand that charity shops get a lot of donations, however what annoyed me is that there is no sign up to say this on the shop window or anything on their website as I checked the window and website before lugging the stuff to their shop. Its not the first time this has happened either, a few months ago, I tried to donate childrens toys to the shop and again was rudely told no donations right now, again no sign on the door or website. I always try to donate things that are worth money or new to make sure the money from any sale goes to the charity, but experiences like this just put you off donating.
