This little gem of an otherwise shabby restaurant used to beyond amazing in terms of food quality and authenticity. We used to go every other weekend and enjoy the authentic dosas, idlis, uttapams, biryanis and curries and it was always full of loads of Indians praising the food to high heaven (always a good sign). We were about to give them a 5-star review and hoping they would expand and thrive. Then sadly and suddenly, the chef changed. After that,, it just wasn't the same. There was a notable downgrade in the quality of food. Sambhar was watered down. The curries had 5 pieces of meat/egg/vegetables and drowning in sauce - possible microwaved from frozen. No doubt that the economic crisis also contributed to cost-cutting and quality reduction. Still, it was a huge shame and we stopped going. This review is based on our last visit from about a couple of month ago so can't say if things have improved since then and the new chef fully trained up. Sincerely hoping things have improved!! Will keep an eye on future reviews and go again if it sounds like they are on the up again.
