Body in Motion Dance

We are in the 60+ age group and having been having a private lesson for approx 5 years as we are unable to attend class due to work commitments. Louisa is a very talented lady and her choreography is outstanding. We have mainly concentrated on the latin dances and work towards medals (which is our choice to do) but pre lockdown switched to ballroom. Louisa makes sure the studios are clean after each class and hashing sanitizer to hand. Dancing on a Thursday is our way to get rid of the negative stress that is around us each day. If you are thinking of starting to dance then Body In Motion is the place to go where you will be made to feel very welcome whatever the age.

Apart from a short break of about 2 years, my daughter has been attending Body In Motion Dance since she was 3 years old. She's now 11. In that time she has competed in freestyle, street and ballroom competitions. Last year she even danced at the Benidorm Palace. She has appeared in numerous shows doing contemporary/lyrical dance and has also recently achieved the honour of being named dance captain. This is testament not only to the hard work and dedication my daughter has applied, but also the excellent tutoring received by the proprietor, Louisa. Louisa is a former championship dancer herself, and she displays incredible imagination in the choreography she teaches. Her ideas are innovative, edgy and relevant, and she teaches in a way the children find easy to understand. My daughters technique has improved so much under Louisa's guidance, and she has inspired my daughter to want to one day own her own dance school. If you have a child who shows an interest in dance, get them down to Body In Motion in Horwich. You won't be sorry !!

Loving being back at the studio after lockdown it has boosted my mental health so much since coming back after months and months of not being able to go. Also love the fresh and unique choreo that Louisa has given to us since we have come back. It has challenged us so so much and has made everyone better dancers and more confident. Also love the positivity in the environment when you are in the studio we just laugh, have fun and also work hard for Louisa. I LOVE being at the studio it is basically my second home and I have made so many amazing friends. Seeing everyone after lockdown was so so nice and I definetely think helped everyone's mental health and was definetley just like a new start for everyone. Love this studio, my dance family and Louisa being my teacher xxxxxxxx

Excellent tution, friendly and helpful. Taught us our wedding dance, still going 5 years later.
