Stayed one night on the 3 April 23 .there was a strong smell of cannabis in the corridor by my room..I spoke to the member of staff who said it is a regular ocurance Rooms: Spacious

A nice bough basic room, fine to stay in for a night or 2, but probably not somewhere you want to spend much time. The hallways smelt of stale beer, but my room was clean and scent-free. The view was of Burger King/Gregg's roof and air con, but it was quiet enough. The TV was at a jaunty angle on the wall, and the shower gel dispenser was empty, so I had to shower with hand soap, hah. Other than at check in, I saw no staff, although cleaners were around in the morning somewhere, as the halls were made a little narrow by cleaning trolleys. Having said that, my bed was comfortable enough for me to sleep, I was undisturbed, and it didn't cost the earth, so it was fine. A positive ok. Food & drinks: Burger king, Gregg's and 24hr petrol(for late night snacks) are all within 100metres.

Really nice travelodge. We booked 2 family rooms. Both where very clean. Standard travelodge decor. Bathrooms were clean and bath wash was provided. Had a heater in the room you could thermostatically adjust which was perfect as I do feel the cold. We had a room at the back which overlooked fields and was very quite. Breakfast on the go was a box with milk, cereal, flapjack ,orange juice and brioche, so we all had plenty for breakfast and a few leftover bits t6k eat throughout the day. Staff were friendly and provided extra complimentary coffee and sugar. There is a good size carpark. A greggs and burger king across the road and on the other side a fuel station, so eveything you would need on a long journey. Would 100% recommend and would use again.
