Rooms: Large bed with comfy mattress, views overlooking lake and TV with smart apps attached to wall. Safety: Gate to access retreat and enclosed retreat. Food & drinks: Self catering but amazing kitted out kitchen with all you need - oil, salt and pepper and pots and pans etc. Lots of food options nearby. Noteworthy details: Bring towels for the hot tub as they are only provided for shower.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the kingfisher pod, we had the most amazing view as well as being able to see the sheep out of the window too. It had everything we needed. However the only thing I would say we should have read the email of booking properly as we needed to bring our own hot tub towels and there was no oven only hob so limited cooking. And the bathroom was freezing. All in all it was an amazing stay and it even snowed while we were there and it was lovely being so close to Christmas too! I would highly recommend and well probably be back in the summer!
