Rooms: Clean, beautiful rooms. Best ones are on the 1st floor. Amazing layout and character. Nearby activities: House has its own canoes and access to the lake, cfe around. Walkability: You can walk to the nearby cafe. Outside you can fit 2,3 cars and there is a little bit more space outside the gate. Noteworthy details: There is no service so you can't make any calls but you do have good wi-fi. You can still call 999. It is a bit hard if you need an ambulance because of the house layout. Such a lovely house but the owner made the stay a misery from the moment we booked - asking for our ages and quizzing us about out intentions even though we made it clear we weren't coming for a party. Left the house spotless but she still found ways to add fees such as for new bedding for having food in the bed (something that would have easily washed out). She managed to send a message for extra fees but failed to mention that a bag was left behind or thanking us for our stay - to top it off sent bag to wrong address! I do hope she can learn to be a bit more pleasant as it really did put a downer on the trip!

This has to be the most beautiful holiday home we have ever stayed in. From the initial booking through to leaving, the owner Jayne could not have been lovelier! Jayne went out of her way to ensure that we had everything we needed and nothing was too much trouble. The house was spotlessly clean and we had wine and cake aswell as milk, bread and butter all left for us to use. The hot tub, the outside eating area, the BBQ and the pool table aswell as the kayaks were all great and all included, no extra fees for anything at all. Have booked again for next year and would not hesitate to give it 5 gold stars (would give more if I could!) Thankyou so much for a lovely long weekend.
