A gem set in one of the most beautiful of areas in the U.K, based on a working farm. We were met as we arrived with a warm welcome. This clean & welcoming cottage set within the three peaks, was like a tardis. Please do not be put off by 'smoking' as it is only in the natural stone & slate entrance where some may stand or in the garden area. Well behaved dogs welcome, down stairs in this cottage with a few rules set clearly on notice board..downstairs only which you understand when you walk out in the rain. The well equipped kitchen/ breakfast room was huge, washing machine provided.. the cosy living room of equal size, a formal dining room, 3 double sized bedrooms with, for our taste, comfortable beds one of these with twin beds. Enclosed (walled to field), stone/slab rear garden and to front across the drive a small grassed sitting area. A store with a tumble dryer. My family have voted, to come back, for a much longer holiday here. Mobile reception touch & go here, what a blessing! All set in a tiny hamlet. Groceries, can be purchased at Settle or Ingleton. A lovely cottage..Thank you Shirley. (P.s Shower not a power shower, but worked wonderfully this week) & after the 3 peaks challenge, there is a bath to soak in.)
