You decide if this is customer care. Booked 2 caravan pitches. Paid 40 deposit for 3 nights mid week - not weekend/bank hols, 5 months hence. After 3 hours was told my Swift Challenger single axle is 35cms over their length restriction. Please cancel? was told sternly no refunds. After much ado was refunded 30 and told they will forward the remaining 10. They didn't.

We stayed in the Shippon self-catering barn located in the garden of the Rowe House in May 2022. The accommodation is within close walking distance of Horton station on the Settle-Carlisle railway, so ideal for anyone not planning to drive. The accommodation is impeccable - very comfortable and an ideal size for a couple. It's a great option if you wanted to stay more than a night or two in the area as there's space to relax and even get some work done if you need to. As others have mentioned, the hosts, Robert and Jane, pay great attention to detail and are very attentive. They are willing to help in any way they can, but will also leave you to your own devices should you wish - just as it should be with self-catering accommodation. The view from the garden - which you are free to use - is outstanding. We hope we can return for a longer stay.
