I had an awful experience here and so have had to file a complaint, Ive been ignored by the general manager and by the head office. And I still havent received my deposit back despite being told over a month ago that I would. Would never recommend. Im now having to take legal action to get my deposit back as no one at Volkswagen will respond to me.

False advertising, mis-selling and poor customer service! We ordered a new Tiguan, signing off on the personalised brochure we were sent which clearly stated the car interior was black. Months later when we went to collect the car we were surprised that the interior was a pale grey fabric - not what you would choose for a family and dog! We honestly thought we must have made a mistake so we drove the car home and checked the original paperwork. On spotting that Marshall VW had promised us a car with a black interior we phoned up immediately to complain and reject the car due to false advertising. They would not admit any fault, apparently we were in the wrong as we drove the car away. So our only option was to sell the brand new car back to then at a knock down second hand price. We were then shocked to see the car back on the forecourt within a few days at a price significantly higher than what they gave us for it so they effectively profited from us twice over. We tried to escalate the situation with Marshalls to get our money back but they completely dismissed our point of view. We are now in the process of going through a formal complaint with the motor ombudsman. We were treated really badly and all we asked for was the money back that we lost (which is less than what VW made on selling the car 2nd time round).
