First visit to a Beefeater for a family meal and to be honest won't be returning. Quality of food was bad along with presentation. In some cases over cooked. Starters Cheesy Mushrooms. Two overcooked mushrooms on a thin rock hard piece of bread Garlic flatbread. Overcooked and hard. Mains Chicken Cobb salad. The avacado on the salad was brown and mushy! Raised with the waitress. She took the salad back, and came back with the same salad with the avacado removed saying, unfortunately the avacado is not fresh, it's frozen and when it defrosts in turns that colour. Unfortunately not all the avacado was removed and my wife continued to eat it. 61 spent on a very poor quality meal. There are better restaurant chains serving better value and quality food. To be honest I am in two minds contacting Environmental Health regarding the avacado because you are serving food that is beginning to turn and go off Very disappointed and won't be returning again for any lunch or dinner. Stick to breakfasts as you can't really mess that up
