Were so glad to have found this gem of a nursery. The staff are all brilliantly qualified and caring. Our daughter cant wait to start her second year here and we have been throughly reassured on their commitment to her learning and safety. If you already follow the Montessori principals at home then Horsham Montessori provides the desirable Montessori materials, practical life activities, uninterrupted workflow opportunities, and mixed age group that benefits every child, in a friendly and safe environment. Communication between nursery and parent is always excellent; with the Famly app announcements and the regular coffee mornings (pre-Covid). Learning and development markers are shared on the My Montessori Child app updated by the nursery weekly, and also the My Montessori at Home app offers the parent the same opportunity to track interests and completed activities. I will definitely be sending my second child here!

Both of my children attended Horsham Montessori. My youngest who has just started school still misses Montessori and it is a testament to how wonderful it is. What impressed me the most is the individual care and support given to each child. Jackie and her team go above and beyond and whenever I have had any concerns they have been incredibly supportive and found the right solution. My children both thrived at Montessori and loved the Montessori teaching method. Would highly recommend!

We chose Horsham Montessori as we were recommended that our child would benefit from the Montessori way of child-lead learning. Upon visiting the nursery we were shown the various specific areas of the nursery and were please to see not only a running room and quiet room but also sensory garden and allotment area. Everything is at child level with an approach to making the children confident and self-motivated. Within a few weeks our child began being much more independent, drinking more water, helping to make her own lunch and wanting to get out her own toys and sit and play with her own imagination. The nursery staff have been incredibly helpful through settling our child into the setting, listening to any concerns we had about her emotions and also helping with her drinking and sleeping. We attended coffee mornings which help us to take and continue Montessori learning in our home. But the coffee mornings also allow us to talk to staff and hear about educational news and what the children get up too. The terms are themed and the Winter party was a particular highlight as it didnt focus on a small group of children putting on a play but the whole of the group signing a song and involving themselves as much as they wanted too. I am so very pleased we have found this gem of a nursery. Throughout lockdown they have uploaded videos to the nursery app along with activities and ideas they themselves have participated in and for us to also do at home. The setting is clean and roomy and they have a great app for safe guarding and everything had a space (pre-lockdown) for bags and scooters etc. The teachers are very knowledgable and experienced. Being a first time mum I have felt, every step of the way, to be supported, listened too and welcomed. Myself and my child have made friends there. It is certainly a type of learning to be embraced. Could not recommend Horsham Montessori, and the team, enough.

The staff are incredibly kind and caring, and there is a very calm atmosphere. Children are able to choose from a wide range of resources, and are taught to respect others and listen carefully to the teachers.

Our son attends Horsham Montessori for the past two years and is now leaving for "big school". He absolutely loved his time at nursery and, as an only child, nursery has helped him to develop into a confident and sociable young boy who knows how to problem solve, take turns and share. In our opinion, the best thing about Horsham Montessori are the staff, they are so kind, caring and respectful of the integrity of the child. They take a genuinely child centred approach in all that they do. On top of this, the nursery also has just the right balance between stimulation (not over stimulation) and space for imaginations to flourish. Because of this, we have seen our son's capacity for imaginative play come alive. An added bonus for us has been the willingness of the management to be flexible and adapt to our changing needs for more or fewer childcare hours at different points in the year. We have always found that if they can help, they will. Finally, because of Horsham Montessori's response to Covid, we felt confident letting our son return to nursery as part of wider reopening of schools. They managed to implement all the health and safety measures necessary, without compromising their child centred approach.
