This company is a disgrace. I agree with the review above avoid at all cost. My husband also has letters saying not to travel but the claim was declined.

They do not answer the phone, you queue for a long time and are told that you are moving up in the Q until you get to "number one in the queue" and then they say that all their operators are busy, and ask you to try later. Don't it's a waste of time, because the same thing happens over and over again. I'm about to suggest to my travel company that they do not advise their customers to use ETI.. They should send me 50 as I sent them the documentation, so I will ask the travel Ombudsman.

Deffinately avoid. This company were recommended as a good specialist insurer - they are sadly not. We had to make a claim after my wife fell very unwell. The doctors and hospital said not to travel so we cancelled - everything was spot on with the paperwork as my wife is a lawyer. The refused to pay out even though they had all the evidence and letters etc etc etc - we took them to the omudsman - whos investigator told them they were wrong and to pay out - they still refused and now its being passed to a full ombudsman and then to court. This company chances its self and refuses claims all the time - most people do not pursue it so they end up not paying on 90% even though they should. You should choose a A rated insurer who pays in the event of something going wrong. Update Dec 2018. Took them to the ombudsman and won. Got our money back and they were told they were wrong and we were insured under there terms!!! They even sent a letter with our cheque saying we should declare all ailments to confirm we are insured.....the reason they were told to pay out was we did declare everything but they tried to avoid paying. Shocking company.
