We originally had an appointment booked for Saturday morning of 28th September, for somebody to come in and measure up the fitted wardrobes in our newly bought house. When we first went in on a Saturday about three weeks ago, we were greeted by a pleasant young lady who was very welcoming. So this seemed promising. However, after receiving a text from Sharps on the morning of Friday 27th, I made a phone call to the Horsham branch to cancel and rearrange the appointment. This was because we did not have the keys to the house yet, and I wanted to re-book for two weeks later just to be safe. I did explain this to Sharps in Horsham when we first made the booking that we might need to call last minute if we find that we don't get the keys when planned (we were told this was fine). I also thought they would appreciate a bit of warning, therefore I called them straight after the text. I tried calling the text number, got no reply, but on calling up the Horsham branch, I was greeted by a rather irritated sounding older lady. I wish I did take down the name now in hindsight. She didn't sound particularly happy or like she could be asked to help. She spoke very bluntly and abruptly and said that we were not on the database and that she had no one booked under mine or my partner's name. Obviously, this was ridiculous and she hadn't even asked me the reason for my call and never even bothered to listen to me speak. Suddenly she interrupts me and says, "Oh, customers have come in. I'm going now. I will call you back" and puts the phone down. Did she call back? No. Sorry, am I not a customer? Well, clearly we are not buying anything from you now as we got a taste of the customer service. Do yourself a favour people, don't buy from Sharps as this is what you could get further down the line.
