Great customer service :-) Had a few questions - they got back to me straight away, really helpful. Careful of their website, I got a duplicate order and you don't get the (very expensive) postage refunded

Considering I only spent 50 with these lovely people they really did go the extra mile to make me a happy customer. I couldnt see what I needed on their web shop so I phoned them up to ask. They could get the lock I needed and added it to their shop that night so I could order it ! Turned up in no time. Thanks so much!!!

Really disappointed with the level of customer service. I wanted some alterations done to my old (Meridian) alarm system. I rang and a lady called me back but she needed to check the system to find my details. Said she would call me back but never did. So I had to chase it up. Eventually it was decided I needed to arrange a visit for a survey and was given the next day as an option for an engineer to call round but I was working so I asked for an alternative date. No response. So I had to it follow it up again with a reminder email. Again, no response. So I have now given up doing all the chasing and approached an alternative alarm company for the business.

Our initial experience of Meridian was positive. They recommended an alarm system and installed it with minimum fuss. They had to return to fit a pet PIR sensor as had been specified but not actually initially installed. The cost was around 800. Within the first twelve months of ownership we contacted Meridian to address a couple of issues. Granted, these were minor issues but issues that needed their attention none-the-less. They never bothered to call me back or make any attempt to arrange a visit to address them. Initially they said theyd service the alarm every twelve months at a cost of 70. The batteries would need changing etc. They havent bothered. I think these facts speak for themselves. For us, their aftersales service has been woeful. Even their inability to service the alarm speaks volumes about them as a company; they cannot manage a virtually guaranteed stream for repeatable business that Id assume is their bread and butter. I would strongly recommend finding an alternative supplier who actually cares about their business because based upon our experience I can only conclude that they dont. Lastly, I used Meridian upon a personal recommendation from a good friend, who has also used them to install multiple alarms for them, including both domestic and commercial. I realise this is somewhat anecdotal but apparently they have experienced an almost identical lack of after sales service as my own. Subsequently they have sought an alternative security company to fulfil their needs. Updated: After suffering issues with sensors disconnecting and the installed alarm for years, I decided to uninstall and replace it. During the uninstall process, I examined the quality - or abject lack of - of the installation. Every sensor on a wall was screwed directly onto the plaster. Not one was properly mounted using drilled holes and plugs. I've replaced the whole system with a technically superior alarm that cost less than half the price. In my opinion, the iRisco gear they use is not very good. Self-maintenance is easy but very expensive. Their iRisco equipment uses the exceedingly expensive CR123 cells - old-fashioned camera batteries. The sounder unit uses 6 of them or something silly. It's not even wired in. Note that wireless alarms are exceedingly easy to install even for a semi-compitent DIYer. Remember this when you're being sold an overpriced, under specified alarm. My new alarm uses CR2032 cells, which are much smaller, significantly cheaper, and last just as long. Hence, it significantly reduces the cost of ownership. Plus, my sensors act in a mesh, meaning I don't suffer any disconnection issues anymore. Feature wise, it's day and night difference, too. The iRisco app and cloud software are poor, and it now has a subscription charge. It's not worth it. I recommend people doing their own homework on their gear and the market alternatives. I wish I had, but I've since learned from my mistakes.
