Got a brand new korando on the motability scheme. I cannot fault the customer service. Patrick dealt with me. I must say I am extremely impressed with the service he provided. I told him I've never driven an automatic before so he came out for a drive to make sure I was OK with the change. That's above and beyond what I expected. I definitely recommend.

Had very positive experiences with this garage to begin with - the staff were friendly and professional on purchase, and they turned around the MOT and service efficiently (at one point squeezing me in at very short notice due to an oversight on my part). However, when the car I bought from them (a Peugeot 308) started experiencing issues, I felt increasingly let down by them. The car broke down on 5 separate occasions due to the same root cause (injector failure) over the course of about 3 years / 10,000 miles. On each occasion I was told I was just "unlucky" - they replaced the part and said there was nothing else wrong with the car and sent me on my way again. From the 3rd time onward I tried pushing them to do more investigation into what was going wrong, but was told there was nothing more they could look at. On the 4th breakdown I noted that the injector that had failed was the first one that they'd replaced less than 2 years prior. When I rang up asking them to explain to me what had happened I was told "it's a different injector every time" and had to inform them that this was untrue and that it was the part they fitted the first time. There was no apology, acceptance of fault or compensation of any kind. On collecting the car they were still sticking to the line that I was "incredibly unlucky", when there was obviously something fundamentally wrong that was causing all the failures. Lightning doesn't strike twice, let alone 4 times! It made me feel like they thought I was an idiot. Needless to say I've got rid of the car now, and having spoken to someone from the AA it turns out injector failures are common with this model of car. Knowing this early on would have saved me a bunch of time, money and hassle - and is the sort of thing I would expect a garage to know about and inform me of, especially when things start going wrong.
