Great little country pub lots of seating outside

Described as "Best fish and chips" in the menu, and I'm inclined to agree. My only regret was not realising the was a huge selection of beers and ciders from the cellar, as there was only one pump, and they were listed on the chalkboard! Also the decor is eclectic and good fun.

Found out about this pub as we wanted to walk to Horsey gap to see the seals and the path from the windmill was meant to be closed. Parked the motorhome in one of their carparks and checked with member of staff that was OK. Distance to the beach was much less than from the windmill. Returned to a very good meal. The staff were lovely and friendly and the interior cosy. Already recommended it to other friends in the area.

Been coming here for getting on 40 years maybe 3 or 4 times a year. My last review was a little negative in 2019. Since that one off, this place has been consistently an excellent experience. Still a brilliant choice from the tap-room and really good home cooked food from the menu. Definitely worth a return visit this summer...who knows maybe also for the beer festival in September if it's on? Keep it up, in these difficult times for out of the way places!

Oy was raining outside. The fire was on inside. The food was good and the beer - cold.
