A lovely little guest house with a small number of rooms available which make it feel intimate and homely (I believe there are 3). All the rooms are ensuite and nicely finished and cared for. The breakfast was spot on with a full choice of cooked or cold foods available with vegi and vegan options being a big plus. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming and gave us some good recommendations on local places to visit, including a great little pub down the road and an amazing WW2 themed cafe, both of which you could walk to! The only thing lacking was a village shop within walking distance, though there are a couple a short drive away. What brought us here though was the nature walks in and around the area and the seals specifically. Being within walking distance to the seal breeding beaches was amazing. I simply couldn't believe the number of baby seals on the beach. They were easily visible from the designated viewing areas along the coast path without being too close to disturb them and there is a handy car park near by if you don't fancy the stroll! All in all the Old Chapel was a fantastic place to stay in an great location.

Stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. Amanda the perfect host is also a brilliant cook..breakfasts are the best that we've ever had..terrific Norfolk hospitality. The setting is perfect, and the accommodation is second to none. If you get a chance to visit then grasp it. The whole area has loads to see and explore..don't miss the seals on the beach. Waxham Barn is a must. Thanks Amanda..see you again soon
