Magpie's Rest

We were disappointed and dissatisfied with our stay. It is a very small noisy, uncomfortable studio apartment. The bed area is very close to the kitchen area and the fridge is very noisy. The property was very warm and so we needed to open the windows. The property is very close to a busy noisy road which was very noticeable with the windows open. The sofa is upright and uncomfortable. The photos do not highlight how close all of the components of the room are together. The apartment is very dirty on the outside and the kitchen area and behind the tv was dusty. The extractor fan in the bathroom is very dirty.

Perfect stay in the most perfect location for discovering the area. The studio is immaculate, very dog friendly, very comfortable and very well appointed with everything you would need. We were warmly greeted by Nick who showed us round and gave excellent tips on where to visit and go to eat in the area. We enjoyed their hospitality of a bottle of chilled wine and cream teas there waiting for us on arrival. We can totally recommend and no doubt will be back. Thank you Nick and Claire for making our holiday very memorable and very special.
