Cooplands

Went in Yesterday lunchtime ;10th September, hardly any sandwiches left so we asked if they could make some for us. We were met by surliness a distinct grudging attitude from the young girl with short brown hair who seemed annoyed that we had dared ask!! She made the sandwiches and then disappeared into the rear of the shop leaving me with an incomplete order (snack as part of the meal deal) I asked an older lady and when she asked the young girl she grudgingly put my sausage roll in a bag and slammed it down on the counter. This is a holiday resort and she should use some customer service. I work in retailing and I would never treat a customer in that manner. Probably she should rethink her choice of job!!!

I often get the meal deals from here. The staff are always polite and friendly. The meal deal is great value, fresh, tasty and substantial. My only gripe is theyve changed the cream doughnuts, they used to be fresh and crispy topped with granulated sugar, now they are bready with powdered sugar no different from the lacklustre supermarket doughnuts. Shame, as they used to be delicious. Other than that gripe, Im a big fan of Cooplands especially the Hornsea shop!

If anyone is looking forward to their 4.95 pork pie then I'm sorry ,it is the worst pork pie I've ever had ,thick pastry and hardly any filling,it's a rip off ,what's happening to good quality food

On the whole this is a great place to visit for a bacon butty, however today had the most miserable server who couldn't crack a smile, your order was virtually thrown at you. My first bad experience here
