Beautiful setting in great location Orchid Lodge is in a lovely spot with great views of the water on all sides of the property. Our children loved feeding the ducks and heron who visited each day! There is a dedicated parking space which is always helpful. On the marina there are two pubs less than 3 minutes walk away - one with a children's play area. It is less than a 10 minute walk into the village which has some lovely pubs, caf, shops and the departure spot for the Southern Comfort Steamer paddle steamer. Belwilderwood is only a 5 minute drive and it is only half an hour to see the seals at Horsey beach, funfair at Great Yarmouth or the historic Norwich City Centre. The property itself is first class - well decorated, clean and comfortable with a great shower! Jane and Jules really have thought of everything to make this a home from home (including an iron and hairdryer!) and there is even Netflix, Disney, Amazon and iPlayer set up on the TV which was great in the evenings after busy days out. Their welcome pack was immensely useful too. We had a great stay with our two children, and especially enjoyed sitting out by the water in the evening having a sundowner! We will be back, thank you!

One of the best, well equipped and clean holiday cottages we have stayed in. Jane took care to supply plenty of information prior to our stay and even purchased a shower mat for our arrival, following our enquiry! We used the cottages mooring during our stay and she provided several ideas for day trips by boat. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and meeting the local wildlife. All amenities are within easy reach. Further afield, we loved the seal boat trip from Blakeney. Thanks for a fabulous stay!

Just had a great stay here. Having stayed at several similar properties in the marina, I can say this was by far the better overall experience. Jane is an excellent host and the communication too was excellent. Very attentive to our needs as well as some lovely personal touches in the accommodation which were very well received. The cottage was warm and very nicely decorated and extremely cozy. Great value, lovely place in a good spot and excellent hosts.... Once again.... Thank you Jane.... and I am sure we will return.
