Disappointed we were in a room without chairs/sofa as pictured in your photos on website! Didnt quite have same appeal However the room was very clean and smelt nice on arrival Clean sheets and bedding and freshly laundered towels Radiator broken but portable heater provided Nice accommodation for a quick get away Food & drinks: Great quality menu available in pub bellies with friendly service

Horning is a pretty little village in an ideal location for exploring the broads and the surrounding area. The swan inn is in an excellent location within the village, next to the river and a 5 minute walk to the bus stop. Free parking is available in the main car park, if stopping at the swan inn. There is a nice beer garden next to the river and food is available within the pub. Our room was number 7 and gave us an excellent view over the river. It was spacious, quiet, clean with plenty of facilities. The only gripe I can think of, is that you could hear the water running from one of the neighbouring rooms when in use. But this happens in most hotels/ b&bs weve been to. But thats the only slight negative I can think off. The staff were excellent and I would definitely recommend the Swan inn to anybody thinking of staying in the area.

Great - location, shower/bathroom, breakfast, evening meal Poor - no heating in the room. This was our second visit where, apparently, the boiler was being serviced. On one of the busiest bank holidays of the year (Easter)?! Same excuse in November. I think they didn't want the expense of heating the rooms. Seems strange how pub downstairs was warm and we had hot water. A small electric radiator was not sufficient and a thin duvet. Rooms: Rooms very cold as no heating other than a small electric radiator. Room clean. Bathroom well kept

Lovely location with very helpful and friendly staff. Food of a good standard although reflecting a corporate approach. Room 4 became a little cold in the evenings as the radiator went off seemingly much earlier than the areas leading to the room which were noticeably warmer. This possibly known problem was addressed by the availability on an oil filled radiator in the room so did not cause us any inconvenience. We would happily stay again and indeed plan to do so.
