    Good airport run to Gatwick last week for 9 of us, all bags were stored in a trailer to help with space and the drivers both ways were sound. Special mention to the trip home as our flight was delayed over 5 hours and we were unable to make contact due to it being a Bank Holiday. To our surprise when we arrived at Gatwick the driver had waited for us all this time as he didnt want us to return to no lift home. Thanks to all involved.

    In July 2022 we booked Pete's Airlink for an 8 person return airport trip for early 2023. The price was very reasonable and we were told we could pay cash on the day which was lucky... they later requested money but honoured the agreement when I said we were originally told we could pay cash on the day. However I am SO glad we didn't part with money before this point. I phoned on the Friday before the Saturday collection to confirm pick up. The person checked our details and said we were all good to go the following day at 6am. It got to 6 and we were a bit confused as normally taxis arrive early so I left it until 6.03am and then phoned. I got a standard out of office message but they left an emergency number which I called and was told they'd look into it. 10 minutes later the phone rings - the driver had covid and knew since the previous day but hadn't told anyone at Pete's airlink. Obviously now we are panicking as we have an early flight to catch, 8 adults all with suitcases for a long holiday, and no way to get to Gatwick. There was no apology from Pete's airlink, but they told us they would phone around other drivers and get back to us. At around 6.20am they phoned back and said it would be 40 minutes until a driver could be with us. This would have made us late for the airport. This was an exceptionally stressful start to a long awaited family holiday, made worse by the lack of apology or care given. We heard nothing from the company again until I emailed to cancel the return trip, at which point we received an apology. I'm just relieved we hadn't parted with any money at this point. I wouldn't rely on this company for transport at all due to the poor communication within the company when drivers are unwell and then of course the poor communication with the customer.

    Always found Pete's Airlink very easy to deal with and incredibly helpful. Buses are clean, drivers are polite, professional and prompt. The office staff are knowledgeable and they will always do thier best to accommodate, even at short notice. A great reliable local company.
