A fabulous place to stay. The cottage had ample room and great facilities. Carol and Robin were brilliant hosts with great communication and no request was too big !!! The cottage itself was within walking distance to everywhere in Horncastle, a wonderful mix of old world antiques shops, friendly pubs and eateries. We had a great family days out in two different wildlife parks and overall had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend staying here for families and couples alike and will definitely be back soon

Spent a week here in June 2022. Horncastle is a small market town. The main road through leads to Skegness and, so, is often very busy. However, this terraced cottage is set in a (very) quiet cul-de-sac, only 5 minutes stroll into the centre of the town. Several pubs and restaurants there, but not particularly touristy. To the rear of the cottage is off-road parking, leading through a small gate into a small courtyard. Courtyard with table and chairs to eat outside. From this private courtyard in through the back door of the house. Large open kitchen-diner. Medium sized living room seating for 4/5 adults at a push, but very comfortable for us as we were only two. Kitchen with everything you need. Downstairs toilet. Staircase is not too steep. Three bedrooms (1 x double, 1 x twin, 1 x single). Upstairs bathroom with bath (shower over), basin, and toilet. Everything clean and tidy upon arrival. Overall: enjoyed our stay here with hosts being friendly and helpful. House wifi was ok but not great (I used my own BT connection).

I would not recommend you stay here it was super creepy the fact that the man next door was in the back garden every time we went inside the house without letting us know he just let himself in, also the house has a door upstairs that looks like it leads into his spare room with a bolt lock on the inside of the door? The man next door also said and I quote "I know this might sounds weird but I snuck in last night to check everything was ok" which made us very uncomfortable we booked for a nice relaxing weekend and we definitely didn't get to relax unfortunately.
