Elmfield House Bed & Breakfast and Holiday Cottage

We stayed in the lodge which was lovely. There were cakes and fresh plums on arrival and Kirsty,the owner, was very welcoming and readily on hand if we needed anything. The lodge was beautifully equipped with everything we could possibly need and we felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. I really can't fault anything here it was perfect for us. If I had to find a fault it was that the bed was so comfortable we ended up getting up late most days.

OMG, if you get the chance you have to stay here. From the moment we booked Kirsty was very helpful, asking what we needed, arranging the rooms the way we wanted, and even providing a small snack for when we arrived. The bed(super king sized) was possibly the most comfortable we'd ever slept in and left us refreshed for our day trips. I only have one small criticism (completely out of their control), there are no taxis in the local area unless you want to be routed off with a massive charge where they get you to pay for them to come to you? by far the best stay we've had in ages, well look forward to returning....asap thank you Kirsty and family
