However... After my dog got an ear infection I was advised that he would need special antibiotics to treat the bacteria that was causing the infection. After several trips costing in excess of 100 per visit (consultation, cleaning, medication etc.) and one per week I was broke. After a few weeks the infection returned, though probably was never fully eradicated.
Unable to afford another round of vetinary treatment I went to a pet store and bought a 10 antibacterial ear cleaner. Three days and the infection was gone... Feel completely conned and disgusted with this vetinary service and will never use them again.
