My grandma came here from the hospital, she was in 4 weeks. I think she would have liked to stay longer. The staff were lovely, the food was nice and the bedrooms were quite big. There are a few lounges with a tv, some with residents in and some quiet ones as well. They did activities with them, bingo etc. All in all brilliant. A bit tricky to find on your 1st visit then you get used to it.

My mother spent a month in Dovecote Lodge whilst recovering from a stroke. The staff were great, the food was great, she had a nice room and nothing was too much trouble for them. The only slight concern I had was that there was not quite enough mental stimulation for her but this is an observation not a criticism.
