I joined West Yorkshire shotokan karate association over 5 yrs ago and continued my study in this martial art from a previous shotokan club. WYSKA is a friendly environment and it provides good training for all members of the community.

I, and several members of my family, have been attending this karate club and it's sister club for 25 years. I cannot speak highly enough of the instructors, the atmosphere, and the training I have received over those years. The mix of traditional martial arts discipline and practices along with the willingness to evolve along with the ever changing world of combat sports while still remaining family friendly is a rare occurence in todays world. I am proud to call myself a member.
