Went for a knife making day here. Great day spent making the knife. Dave was really insightful with his instructions and I learnt a lot about knife making and knife care! Really good day that I would recommend to anyone interested in knives for cooking

Great experience with Dave at Hand Forged Yorkshire. His knowledge, expertise and enthusiasm for his craft really comes through from start to finish. Enjoyed every minute of the day and would certainly recommend.

Had a superb day on the knife making experience and an added bonus was that I came away with a top quality bespoke kitchen knife! Dave was an exceptionally good instructor, gave me a balance of detail and practical demonstrations to allow me to work on the knife myself without too much interruption. The bite sized stages worked really well and all in all it was a cracking day out. So much so I am already considering booking another workshop for a different style of knife. Top dude, excellent day out and quality piece of kit (and memories) that will last a lifetime.

My son and I had an awesome day, with Dave Brearey. He really knows his stuff, and is a superb teacher, so supportive and encouraging. His passion for his craft and the materials involved shine through, and his enthusiasm is highly infectious. Absolutely smashing from start to finish, and some ace kitchen knives made to treasure!

My partner and I went a couple of weeks ago on a Sunday course. What a blast. Had a wonderful time. Great teacher with clear instructions and help when needed. Best experience day ever.
