Tucked away (although very close to Queenswood via a dirt track), and an unexpected delight if youre in the mood to expand your knowledge of domesticated hens! The goats and sheep in the open are fun to watch, but this is not a petting zoo and its clearly a working farm. Inside the barns, an impressive selection of hen breeds await, with considerable information on the specifics of each type. You can also purchase most of what youd need in order to keep and care for egg-laying hens at home feed, bedding, coups etc. We met a couple of the staff there, who were friendly and happy to answer our questions.
