Steve was recommended highly to us by a neighbour. As he was nearby, he managed to book a sweep in at very short notice. My knowledge of multi-fuel stoves was practically zero, but Steve took the time to explain exactly how the stove worked in great detail, showing all the parts and how to correctly build a fire. Our stove's damper was jammed tightly shut, but Steve was determined to get it working again and went above and beyond expectations to fix it. The stove looked as good as new after he had finished cleaning and polishing the exterior metal and glass. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a chimney sweep. I was expecting the sweep to cost a lot more due to the physical effort and time needed to fix the damper and because of the big cleaning job but he barely asked for much more, so we offered more and still thought it was a very reasonable price.
