        This house is so cute and charming! The housekeeper, Nicola was so helpful. We left a large sum of cash in a drawer and once we realized it, we called Nicola. She found the cash and promptly shipped it to us at our accommodations in Ireland! The town of Hook Norton is very small, quiet and quaint. The locals were so nice! We found a new game called Aunt Sally, which was fun as the locals included my husband. London is about an 1.5 hour train ride. Stratford upon Avon is about a 30 minute drive and well worth it. We visited Bath and Stonehenge in a day. Thoroughly enjoyed Bath! It is a beautiful town. Bridge Hill Cottage is steps away from a local inn. The owner was super nice! Order the ham dish, it was amazing! I cannot recommend this cottage or town enough. If you like quiet, peacful lodgings after a day of hectic site seeing, this is the place for you.
