Byron Lodge Care Home

I have worked for Byron Lodge now for just over 2 months. It is by far the best residential home I have worked for. The staff are fantastic as are the residents. A high standard of care is delivered daily and all staff really do go the extra mile for each and every resident/family member. The management are highly supportive and driven to deliver excellent standards throughout the home. We care group acknowledge the hard work and efforts of staff and this really does show.

I have worked at Byron Lodge for nearly 10 years now and have a good working relationship with colleagues and service users aswel as a good supportive management team. We are a friendly welcoming home who supports service users and their families. We care group are there for their staff and they appreciate the dedication what we all do that is provided in the care home. The ethos of the home is to provide the highest standards of care to our clients and their families, staff are trained to high level of skill.

Always late to notify family of incidents an unable to explain how or when cuts/scrape happened. Missed appointments at hospital due to staffing issues twice. Would not recommend.

Working at byron lodge for quite afew years I find my job very rewarding providing care and support to the clients within our care environment. We care group, I find are very supportive and encourage staff to develop there knowledge and skills as much as possible. Due to the stressful times that everyone is facing staff remain friendly and dedicated providing greetings with smiles, support to maintain a safe and secure environment. We respect differences in people and provide person centred care.

My husband David stays for almost a month, and he love it and told me everybody was so brilliantly nice to hem. He said he was well looked after, and wants me to put hem there again, when I need to have a break for looking after hem. Thank you so much everybody in Byron Lodge for looking after my husband so well.
