Booked an online slot for 'New Customer Contact Lense Trial'. Had voicemail saying I'd booked for a 'fitting appointment' (I didn't, that's not even an option) and that they didn't have a prescription for me (no, because I had a valid one with me, from another branch, as required) and so they were cancelling the appointment. No one then answered the phone for the next HOUR (we tried every 5mins). They then left me another voicemail AFTER my appointment time telling me they couldn't help me (they might have, if they hadn't cancelled my appointment!). The next day I then get an email saying I HAD MISSED THE APPOINTMENT and should rebook!!! Utterly pathetic. You need to improve your online booking systems and ability to answer the phone.

Having experienced the professional commitment of the franchise holder - Nish - earlier in the year, I was anxious that he saw my wife also and so visited by appointment on 20 March. We were delighted, once again, to receive top-flight attention from Nish who was at pains to settle my wife down with his calm and clear review of the optometry results taken by his supporting staff, reassuring her that there was no underlying disease and making other practical suggestions for continued eye-care. He really is the consummate professional. After that consultation, we returned to "front of house" where we were quietly and efficiently served by the very personable Chloe in purchasing a pair of new spectacles for The Boss! Overall, just the sort of experience one would look for when anxious about incoming eye difficulties in ones eighties. Full marks, Team Specsavers Honiton, and thank you! Richard and Patsy
