Always had great treatment from Rachel and the team - absolutely hate dentists (sorry) but the team there keep you calm, tell you wants going on as they work and put you at complete ease. Brilliant.

I'm writing this review for Dr. Tom Mann and the very incredible nurses who work with him. I'm a horribly nervous patient but Dr. Tom was so so tender and kind with me. Most of my knowledge on visiting the dentist was formed around information from YouTube and that was enough to nurture my fear of seeing a dentist. I've successfully had a tooth extraction and composite filling here with very speedy recovery time and no complications at all! Thank you so much for the good work you're doing!

I visited Brookvale Dental Practice in Honiton as a new private patient. After my appointment, I was advised to achieve"dental fitness", I would need two fillings and an appointment with their hygienist. I was horrified when I was given a quote of just under 500.00 for this. Included in this price was an additional new patient fee and 25.00 for each appointment to cover their PPE costs. However, I am unsure why there was a higher charge to pay just for being a new patient. I felt it was inconceivable that I needed any fillings as I had not been having any pain, discomfort or other symptoms. Therefore, I did not go ahead with the treatment. 8 months on, I have found an NHS dentist and have just been advised today that my teeth and gums are in excellent condition. I also had x-rays taken like I did at Brookvale and have been informed that I do not need any fillings. As an NHS patient I paid 23.50 for a check-up and 2 x-rays. At Brookvale I paid 90.00 for a check-up, 50 for two x-rays and a 25.00 PPE charge. I understand private cost more but never this much more as as other private dentists do not charge as much as this.
