Called into honiton today as the sidmouth branch has closed. I only went in to find out what charges were applied if you use your card abroad and came out opening a global money account which was a better deal than a similar account as the post office. The young lady who served me was so helpful, told me all about the account, helping me load it onto my phone etc which is just as well as the honiton branch is closing in June. I understand the reason why the branches are closing but it is a sad day when u can't talk to someone face to face.

Exceptionally helpful staff able to make you feel you want go back .... Now how rare is that in a bank .... Love them or hate them we need them but not on all online! It makes such a huge difference when you deal with a real person you talk to and not a mobile phone that keeps saying"no" . Now waiting for their next sale of new 20 notes, hopefully buy one get one free! Well, everywhere else does it! Thanks
