I'm french and i was a client of this auction house in april 2022 (under another name).And i can say all was serious and perfect.They were very helpful for the shipping, my questions.And their mails were friendly.I recommend!

As a family, grieving the loss of not just one parent, but two, we had the misfortune, to deal with these auctioneers. They came highly recommended, so we invited them around to our parents former home. Duncan was most complimentary, and spent time looking and asking lots of questions, his assistant was very complimentary too. A list was emailed to us, which they'd put together after their visit, they'd inadvertently missed various items, this we questioned, and they were added. It was explained that many items would be put together, as a lot, which we agreed with. The awful task of packing it up was done, not a pleasant experience, as these artifacts held lots of treasured memories. Transport was organised, and off it went on the alloted day. Several hours after it arrived at the auctioneers, a member of our family, received a phone call from Duncan, who was rude and came across as extremely aggressive, his language and tone was appalling. He disagreed with us, on what we'd sent, which was not the case, as he'd spoken to us in detail on the day of our appointment with him. He embarrassed the company who had taken the items to Honiton, as they had to return some of the items to us. We can't fault the other members of the Chilcotts team, however, Duncan's thoughtless telephone call left, a family extremely upset, notably as we are grief tricken over the loss of our parents. His attitude is reprehensible!
