Lots and lots to do! Cattle and sheep shows, you can observe rural craftsmen doing their trades and they are happy to chat about why and hows of it, lots of stands to purchase local produce, machinery and goods. Children catered for with punch and judy, balloon animals, ferret racing invites in to show rings at times. I found food extremely expensive so you may want to consider taking picnic. Free parking onsite which can get busy, a free shuttle bus operates locally can get round the parking chaos. Cost of entry was 20 per head no concessions which I thought was a bit steep.hence the 4 stars othereide would rate it 5 stars.

Very good one day show, a good choice for everyone with plenty to see and do. While still keeping to it's agricultural roots for country types , it also offers a lot for a town based person. Although I am only loosely connected with farming these days, I was impressed that a sales person took the trouble to show me around the controls of a modern (green) tractor.
