Old Ferry Boat

Lovely place right next to the river. Pretty setting, traditional inside. Food looked really lovely. Best to book well in advanced to get a table.

This time was a real let down we have been here many times before mostly been okay liked the breaded mushrooms but cant stand the greenery with roots on you need somthing nicer than that. Salmon fishcakes not that tasty meeds a nicer sidesalad with it as well or potatoes as not very filling. My husbands steak was very tough and chewy so gave it mostly to thr dog he got hatdly no chips, cant belive when I saw hi plate We ate in the garden where 2 children kicking a ball near us nearly hit one of us we was not amused, we go out for nice meal you dont need that ball games should be banned in the garden where people eat and look foward to a quiet drink we was coming down in our boat to stay the night but are noe not due to football nuisance s other people must feel the same as us.

View is nice and staff friendly but wouldn't recommend the food as it was not upto standard and after a long wait it was quite disappointing if it wasn't for the food the experience would of been a 5*.
