An excellent service provided by Richard & Holt Town Cars. A much awaited West End theatre trip was perfected by Richard's friendliness, professionalism & punctuality. The ride was most comfortable, hassle free & definitely added to the enjoyment of our day. We are already planning another theatre trip & Richard will be our first port of call for a safe, value for money journey to London & any subsequent trips in the future. Service: 5/5 Vehicle: 5/5 Price: 5/5 Professionalism: 5/5 Safety: 5/5 Richard: 5/5 Anything & Everything Else: 5/5 I'll start by saying this is my first review I've ever written, not just for a Taxi Service but for anything. Having used a wide range of taxi services over the last 20 years, I hope that statement speaks for itself. I was attending a wedding in the area on Saturday and naturally a supply run was needed during the evening period for some of the guests. I wasn't familiar with the area so had little knowledge on the closest shops. The first taxi service I contacted wasn't very helpful and informed me it would cost 50 "just to get to Tesco's, the nearest store" and "could take anything up to an hour+ for a driver to get to the pickup point". I was a little disheartened at such a staggering quote, but suspected that the first service I contacted were trying to take advantage of a customer who didn't know the area. I then saw Holt Town Cars listed, so decided to get a quote from them. Richard answered and was very supportive, professional and understanding; Not least because he's been working as a Taxi driver for over 16 years, but because he lived locally, meaning he knew exactly were the nearest places were. Had a great conversation about our origins, home towns, Birmingham, and the shock we both shared at the quote I got from the other service. In less than 5 minutes were at a store called Budgens of Holt. Richard turned my previously quoted journey of "100+ and several hours" to a "Return Trip, Costing 10 and wasn't longer than 15 minutes overall". It was so quick it baffled guests at the wedding, who were convinced I hadn't even left the venue yet and instead magicked up cigarettes out of thin air. I would argue that the quality and care of his taxi service is unmatched by any other in the area. Many thanks again Richard, wish you all the best :).
