We booked for Christmas and were so disappointed with this cottage that we left and went home. Living room has completely changed since the pictures that are on Sykes were taken and not for the better. Very poor level of comfort now and feels cheap and uncared for. Seats look like they came out of a student house and were uncomfortable to sit on. The kitchen was clean but the fridge freezer was way too small for the size of property. The dining room ceiling was too low for me to stand up straight (Im 511). The bedrooms looked clean but cant comment on comfort as we didnt stay. The garden is about 8ft square of gravel with bins in it. A big problem with this property is the fact that its a paving slab width off a very busy through road. There is constant traffic noise and getting to and from the church car park over the road is dangerous. We asked if they would decorate for Christmas and there was one sad looking tree plonked in the corner with broken decorations hanging off it. When we complained the owner first said he would give us a refund but then backtracked later only offering a small partial refund. Lost a lot of money and had a very upset family at Christmas. Save yourself the hassle and book a nicer property.
