My wife worked here during the pandemic and the truthful situation happening here left me in utter disbelief. Im an ex Paramedic and have a pretty good idea of what good patient care looks like. But the staff ratios to residents at Deer Park, and the Home Owners attitude to staff are absolutely reprehensible. Suffice to say that my wife no longer works there. It was tough to leave as she cared very much about her residents, but ultimately never had the time to offer care to them. I urge prospective residents to sit back and take a balanced view of this home and trust their judgement.

Horribly run care home. The carers themselves are wonderful people, and are brilliant at their jobs. However, the team leaders dont seem to know what they are doing and have very poor attitudes and very poor work ethic. I cannot speak very highly of the management team either, especially the newer members.

This residential home is ran very poorly! If the client doesn't follow persuit to their regimented daily routines then the tenant is deemed to be too challenging for the care home! A home with so many staff from cleaners, the meal staff, personal care workers, carers to head carers and then the assistant manager and the manager herself plus reception clerks and then to top it off they seem understaffed as they also have agency staff to cover shifts they can't.... all of which is a lot of faces that their tenants have to get use to and trust?!?! Only 1 staff showed a bit of passion out of all I saw and spoke to, in all my visits not once did I get a good feeling about this place and from my experience I only hope you all go with your first gut feeling too! This is not a place you would want your relative in! They suck the life out of them and you will see your relative deteriorate very quickly! There's always an excuse of why something didn't happen the way it should have! Always the clients fault for mishaps!
