Stayed for a week towards end of March. Amazing place and very warm welcome on arrival. Large lodge, with everything you could want in a self accommodation. Requested a high chair and cot, which was waiting for when we arrived. Never used the cot in the e d but the high chair was enjoyed by our 7 month old. Good location, few minutes drive from nearest town, but being in the lodge youd think you were nestled deep in the countryside, surrounded by ducks, geese and chickens. Hopefully, look at staying here again in the future, would very much recommend.

Our first reaction of Primrose lodge was 'WOW'. the lodge was bright, spacious and absolutely spotless. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything in good working order. The outside patio area is perfect for sitting out appreciating the beautiful countryside and lakes including the on site entertainment team i.e. the geese with their regular fly over and lake landing, and the hilarious ducks who sound as if they are laughing with each other, this made us chuckle out loud. The grounds are very neat tidy and maintained to a very high standard. Fishing was great here all nice looking fish in pristine condition. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and genuinely appreciate people enjoying their property. we could easily spend the whole summer here. Paul, Sarah and John.
