After a long break from Devon we returned to Southcombe Farm this time choosing Homestead as our accommodation. Our short Easter break found our host, Paul, ready to welcome us after our long journey from Kent. A quick introduction and we were left to relax. We were greeted the following morning with bright sunshine which we made full use of relaxing on the Homestead veranda. Nothing was too much trouble to our hosts to make our stay perfect. - Cushions, bird books, fly spray, cakes! As per the website, Homestead includes many features to make the stay perfect. It is so rural but thanks to sheep, ducks, birds and lots of wildlife there is much to occupy oneself. In our 4 days we explored Hartland Quay, RHS Rosemore, Merry Harriers Garden Center, now home to 2000 + Gnomes!, Roadford Lake and of course the lovely Devon countryside. Thank you for looking after us so well. See you again soon. PS Watch out for Southcombe GOLD
