Munstone House Country Hotel

Had a lovely stay at Munstone House in the Duchess room. Comfortable 4 poster bed with gorgeous views. Bathroom had a large, sunken bath to relax in.. heaven! Only a couple of staff who were warm and friendly. Gorgeous cooked breakfast.. and if you like porridge they make a perfect one for you! A charming hotel.. would definitely stay again. Thankyou

Falwty Towers meets the Marie Celeste! We were relocated here from the booked Hopbine which on arrival was locked up and deserted. Phoned the number on the notice on the door and eventually got sent here. An old country house, long since past its glory days and definitely in need of tlc. NEVER SAW A HUMAN. Told on phone where to find a key and directions to room. Room was spacious but old and tired. Bathroom desperate for renovation. Reciev3d another phone call whilst out having a meal at a local pub. "If you want a cooked breakfast that will be 7 extra each". Breakfast arrived in a paper carrier. A pot of fruit yoghurt, an instant porridge tub, a ham salad sandwich, a muesli bar and a small bottle of orange juice. Locals say only good reviews written by owners themselves. Read the critical ones. Conclusion: Should have paid a bit more and gone to Premier Inn nearby.

My wife and I had cause to book a couple of nights stay at Munstone House for the purposes of visiting friends and collecting a new car in Hereford. This is a magnificent stately home and despite needing a mild refresh in some areas we enjoyed its charm. We were very well looked after and wifi problems aside have no complaints. We will definitely be back should the need arise.
