23 of us descended on Lou & Jos on Friday night for a leaving do. A couple of us arrived a little bit early & were greeted by a friendly girl who showed us straight to our table. The pre ordered wine was swiftly brought over. Everyone arrived and got seated and a little while later the food arrived. It must have been difficult to bring out 23 meals at the same time but they managed it. Mine was very tasty & everyone seemed happy. Would defo return

Food was ok, but for the cost/price I really expected something much better. Most places serve burgers with chips standard - so having to order fries as an extra to go with your burger is clearly a money grab. I ordered the old skool and went for a double and ordered the loaded fries. Both burger and fries weren't exactly piping hot, in fact the bun felt cold to touch. Double burger alone is like 14.20 and another 5 for loaded fries. Didn't notice any bacon on my burger. And fries with what seemed like ketchup, American mustard, chopped pickled gherkins, and tiny amounts of those "bacon bits" that you get in salads - is hardly what I'd constitute as "loaded" fries. If the food was worth the 20 mark then great, but what you got compared to the price isn't balanced. You'll get pretty much a similar experience from a lot of other places at a much more affordable and reasonable price. And to charge 1.50 for condiments feels just cheap and a blatant money grab. So to summarize - around 20 for a luke warm burger, and not the greatest of loaded fries. Meh

Amazing as always! Staff super friendly and happy to see you. Great with my little boy, bringing him crayons and giving him a sticker to take away
