I booked Katie to delivered one of her workshops in my school as part of a topic on Samba and Carnival Sounds, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! The workshop was engaging and accessible for all pupils, including those with additional needs, and allowed our children to develop their knowledge of traditional samba instruments whilst improving their skills at playing as part of an ensemble. Katie's lively and enthusiastic manner meant that both staff and pupils found the session fun and rewarding, whilst her patience and knowledge meant that the children were both supported and challenged throughout. Our teachers found that the workshop was fantastic CPD for them and now feel much more confident in delivering whole class music tuition. We would love to have Katie back again in the future for another workshop.

I joined Katie's class to improve my rhythm as I play the ukulele, recorder, flute and occasionally the keyboard, and good rhythm is essential for all instruments. The class is lots of fun and educational. I've made lots of progress in a very short space of time.

We saw Katies band play such energetic samba at the Picturedrome that we thought how fab would it be to be able to do that? Then we had our chance at Holmfirth Folk Festival workshop and Parade and it was fantastic. Katies energy and enthusiasm is infectious and her magic made us sound fab! Thats not the end either. Ive joined Valley Beats on a Weds morning its great fun!
