Would absolutely recommend an evening workshop with Rooks and Roses. Despite lacking in creativity, the 3 of us went with an open mind and are all thrilled with our (organically-designed) bracelets! A totally relaxing, fun and well-timed workshop. Thank you Karl for taking us out of our comfort zones, for providing an evening just for the 3 of us, for taking us away from our everyday woes but more importantly for giving up your evening and for sharing your talents with us.

Really beautiful, unusual and well made jewellery. Have a few items and delighted with each one, including 2 made to measure cuff bracelets which fit perfectly. Very friendly and helpful owner/designer. Definitely recommend.

We decided to have our wedding rings from Rooks & Roses after first seeing Karl's stall in Leeds Street market. His work is of masterful craftsmanship and exquisite taste in which nature, organic shapes and mythology are the main flagships. We genuinely love the irregularities that make artisan work unique and it seems just right to make a jewelry like this the symbol of the compromise with each other. I am really happy with our choice not only because it's stunning but also because Karl is such a pro and lovely generous person, and this is something we will always remember. Thank you Karl, we we'll see you again for more beautiful jewelry for sure!

Just finished the weekend intro to jewellery making course and I LOVED it! I would highly highly recommend. We learnt the basic skills to create multiple items... (luckily I booked my boyfriend and I onto it, so I came out dripping in copper and silver! ). Karl is a brilliant teacher, he explained everything and allowed us to get creative in a safe environment, he supported our ideas (however mad they were) and the small group meant we got focused mentoring throughout. Couldnt recommend enough, and also fantastic value for money. Thanks again Karl!

I received a dragonfly necklace a couple of months ago as a gift and I absolutely love it. I have received countless compliments about it. It feels so special and magical wearing such well locally crafted jewelry. I would highly recommend buying from Rooks and Roses.
