Following a recent operation to fuse my big toe joint to relieve pain from arthritis I was looking for shoes with a rolling sole design to relieve pressure on the joint when walking, and was advised to try HOKA shoes. Peak Footwear was the nearest HOKA stockist to me and after phoning the shop for advice we travelled to Holmfirth to try these shoes. The service was outstanding with friendly informed advice and plenty of choice. I would have no hesitation in recommending Peak Footwear. The whole buying experience was a joy. By the way, HOKA shoes are a great success for me and I'd recommend them to anyone with painful big toe joints.

Great shop, I went in to buy trail running shoes and every care was taken to ensure they fit my feet properly. Staff were lovely and welcoming.

Excellent service and quality! Visited to purchase new walking boots. They spent lots of time measuring my feet properly and talking through my preferences, the sort of boots I was used to, the hikes I do, and patiently helped me try different boots on to find the right pair. They had advised I should get a size 5.5 but I was adamant I needed a 5 as I always wore 5. Upon trying at home for a few hours in the house I realised they were right, and I needed to size up.I returned to the store and they were really helpful again and put an insole in the size up to provide the perfect fit. I have tried the boots out on a muddy icy walk this afternoon and Im very happy. I would highly recommend this shop and will definitely return next time I need walking boots or fell shoes or walking socks as they looked to have a great range of options there too. So great to have proper customer service, and a rarity nowadays when we rely on the internet so much. Definitely worth spending the time and money to try on properly and get expert advice.
