Had my fusebox upgraded and some new lighting installed by Valley Electrical. Adam came to quote for the work quickly, and I didn't have to wait long for the job to be completed. Very happy with the workmanship and the job overall. Highly recommended.

Im a Smoggie (from Middlesbrough) and have lived in HD for only 2 years. I know no tradesmen here and was really struggling to find a local, registered electrician to do an EICR of a kitchen refurb my partner and I were doing for her daughter to make sure it met Part P of The Building Regs. (Were neither of us electricians.) Id emailed, phoned and texted several electricians to offer them the work, and got too busy or, more often, no reply at all (how rude is that?). I then happened across Adam Purnell (proprietor of Valley Electrical) purely by chance while he was working for my partners neighbour. He gave me a snap quote because he was on the phone when I barged in on him, bless him. A few months later, when our refurb was done, I got back in touch with Adam and he kindly fitted us into his busy schedule without upping the ante (how honourable is that?). Only days later he arrived exactly at the time he said he would, carried out the EICR with consummate professionalism, provided the (NICEIC) paperwork immediately afterwards, and trusted me with an invoice. Adam was friendly, polite and engaging the whole time; he let me pick his brains, we had a laugh about DIY catastrophes, and he even gave me a free Wago box to protect a choc-box connection Id forgotten to cover. All in all, Adam Purnell was an absolute joy to deal with. This was by far our most pleasurable experience in what has been a very demanding project, and Valley Electrical is now our go to electrical contractor. Thank you, Adam!
